Unexpectedly chic or vile curtains?

I am inexplicably drawn to this dress.

Is it the sublimely chic dress of my dreams or, in fact, a pair of curtains masquerading as a dress?

I have purchased it! I fully expect to be sending it back but just have to see it in the flesh.

The short version is much nicer but still meeds shorter sleeves.

It's a migraine on a hanger and doesn't even flatter a thin model. Never mind curtains, I'd look like a sofa in it.

The short version would show your knickers in a breeze.
