Does bridal fashion photography win the prize for silliest?

I know fashion photos are all about selling an illusion and sometimes a bit of a suspension of disbelief is required for photoshopping or insanely flattering lighting or something. But why so wedding dress designers insist their frocks are photographed on models who must be wearing stilts? Can anyone beat this one for crazy disproportion between the models upper and lower halves?

But seriously, yeah that is a bit weird. And a horrible dress to boot!

I think the photographer is lying on the floor and the bride is standing on a chair!

Depends when I was married 4 years ago I was scarily thin and 5"10" time I put heels on to try dresses and that particular style they looked much like that girl in the first link your just plonked in the top of a lot of material.
Needless to say I didn't buy that sort of dress! But for average height woman it looks much more balanced!!!

I meant time I put 4 inch heels on I was 6'2" which made dresses look unbalanced

@TheNavigator My dry wit didn't come across in type... I'm 5'2" and I don't think anyone probably has legs that long!
