Is Monsoon sizing on the small side??

Because I ordered this dress in my usual size 10, and I couldn't even button up the skirt! I don't even think a size 12 would have been much better.
If any stick insect would like to purchase this dress, do so online as it's full price in the shop.

I find them big and it puts me off shopping there.

i find them pretty true to size but as they say some brands are just cut for certain figures

I'm also in thr camp their sizing is very generous. However agree with the poster who said if all your other clothes are a ten and from a variety of places then it's the dress and not you.

I do find certain items at marks and Spencer's can also be generous. It depends on the range.

Was recently a bridesmaid and the dress was from Monsoon. We all found it pretty true to size actually. I was pregnant when shopping and the wedding was two months after my due date so I went for a 10 (was an 8 pre baby) and had to have it taken it in. The other girls bought it in their regular size except for one that had to size up due to big boobs. We were all size 8 or 10 and usually shop in Topshop/ASOS/ZARA etc. if that helps at all.

I'm a size 6 and can't shop from there as it's all to big so maybe it's just the dress

I had to get a dress in a 16 from there recently and I am 14 in Ted Baker, New Look, River Island etc

Now new look and river island I find tiny in comparison.

I find it a bit petite for my long body in that blouses are a little short and the waist of dresses sit too high.
