Jigsaw has dropped in quality massively - bought 3 pairs of wool trews in the sale with absolutely no lining whatsoever. Their work wear used to be brilliant.

I don’t really buy it anymore until the end of their sales period.

MnaSneachta · 02/03/2018 19:51

I love JIgsaw btw. Have a few really lovely tops from there. NEVER seen anything like those trousers though. whoah.

FartlekFucker · 02/03/2018 19:54

Jesus, how is that wrap dress a daffodil print? And most of those clothes make the very slim models look frumpy. How would they look on my lumpy bod? YANBU OP, truly ridiculous.

Ohyesiam · 02/03/2018 20:02

These designers have never had to live through the 70s, or they would know better....

Floisme · 02/03/2018 20:07

I disagree - it's pretty tame compared to what we wore in the 70s.
When they start selling red loons, and purple corduroy hotpants with a bib then you might have a point.

tinyradish · 02/03/2018 20:14

I mean, I don't like them but I've seen worse.

TheVanguardSix · 02/03/2018 20:16

Fuuuuuck me. It's awful. All of it! Throw in the reasonable green dress as well and burn the lot. Awful. Awful. Awful.

ELR · 02/03/2018 20:18

Holy fuck they are bad!!!

SirSidneyRuffDiamond · 02/03/2018 20:32

I think the silk chevron trousers could be lovely on a hot holiday, as long as you are slender. BUT for £275 pounds the chevron pattern should bloody well line up on the inner seam. No excuse for that level of shoddiness.

peonylover22 · 02/03/2018 20:35

I am a Jigsaw fan. But this season is bonkers

neveradullmoment99 · 02/03/2018 20:36

In a word AWFUL

queenofarles · 02/03/2018 20:51

It's not that bad, bit gucci-esque, but the prices are steep for high street. I haven't bought anything from jigsaw in ages, what is the quality now like compared to say J.crew ,Ganni? The price point and aesthetic are similar .

AthenaAshton · 02/03/2018 21:05

Fresta and Laksa : quite. I am saving my money for groceries. [grin}

Even the nice stuff from Jigsaw (i.e. a couple of years ago, when my mum treated me) don't wash well.

rightknockered · 02/03/2018 21:06

I love that chevron jumper, not the rest so much.

Acopyofacopy · 02/03/2018 21:12

The dresses (even if they are supposed to be tops) are ok.
Slumpy miserable models don’t really sell them very well, though.

Chevron trousers would make awesome yet pricey pyjamas.

BattleaxeGalactica · 02/03/2018 21:13

Rashly admitting I bought a pair of similar trews on holiday for a tenner. The thought of spending £275 is making my brain boggle wildly.

Not keen on the dress but I don't do dresses generally. If it was a top though...

BUNMUM · 02/03/2018 21:24

Two hundred and seventy-five squid!
Boggle. Boggle. Boggle.

DioxideBlonde · 02/03/2018 21:53

Even the models look pissed off at having to wear this stuff and they're being paid to do it.

thedevilinablackdress · 03/03/2018 11:15

Missoni is what they're thinking

YTho · 03/03/2018 11:20

Based on pictures posted so far, looks like pool sliders are making a come back!!!!

EyeSaidTheFly · 03/03/2018 17:31

The quality has definitely shot downhill. I had a white linen top from there which washed slubs into everything and then developed holes 6 months later . Jigsaw wouldn't give me a refund as I hadn't kept the receipt! I'm not going to take another chance on them now.

beguilingeyes · 06/03/2018 13:17

I've never been able to afford Jigsaw so I don't go in there any more. I was sad at the demise of Kew.

CookingUpAStormTonight · 06/03/2018 18:05

Can't wait to see all the Insta influencers trying to persuade us that we need these awful things. What has happened to Jigsaw - really expensive and really ugly clothes!?

NotLinkedInSnowedIn · 06/03/2018 20:26

Lanaor, who would you buy from? Which designers?

LadyLapsang · 06/03/2018 21:29

I really like the green dress and contrary to Mna wouldn't hesitate to wear it in Westminster. Yes, I'm 5 ft 10, but in my 50s.
