By Terry Baume de rose is amazing!!

Scarlettwaffle · 25/02/2018 07:03

I love it - in fact I just ordered another last night. I’ve been using bites agave lip mask at night & loads of different cheapie ones in the day, but oh how I miss my nuxe.
And I’m sure it used to be £15 but I ordered it for a tenner on cult beauty....

thedevilinablackdress · 25/02/2018 10:07

Best I've ever tried

Howaboutthisone · 25/02/2018 10:08

These are encouraging!

I'm a Nuxe lip balm (pot) devotee so wouldn't really recommend anything else... but if I had cash to spare I'd buy Eve Lom Kiss Mix - smells great and is lovely (but I still prefer the texture of Nuxe).

QuiteCleanBandit · 25/02/2018 11:16

I use Nuxe -lasts ages and nothing compares .
I like the non greasiness compared to others

Ellapaella · 25/02/2018 19:38

It is good, I use it overnight and really rate it but I use the Carmex tinted ones during the day which are also excellent.

BagelGoesWalking · 25/02/2018 23:43

I just love the Nuxe in a lot! I used to be reapplying other lip balms constantly during the day (and could only use "plain" ones bc of sensitive skin.

Now I'm putting on once in the morning and once before bed. Very occasionally during the day especially if I'm out in the cold and want to protect them even more. I think it's amazing!

Howaboutthisone · 26/02/2018 18:54

I think it can be a payday treat then! Thanks all!

I love this. Got 3 for £30 at boots a year ago and I'm almost at the end of the first pot Blush lasts ages!

TacoFlavouredKisses · 26/02/2018 20:06

Slightly off topic (and don't let me put you off OP!) but does anyone else have issues with theirs being a bit gritty? I luffs it but the occasional grittiness is strange and puts me off using it in the day... which is a shame because it's one of the few balms that don't give me lip cheilitis.

QueenOfTheAndals · 26/02/2018 20:29

Yes I found Nuxe to be gritty too. Didn't do anything for my lips either, just dried them out. The only thing that works for me is Lanolips.

Judydreamsofhorses · 26/02/2018 21:08

I keep a pot by “my seat” in the living room. I think the grittiness comes because it can get a bit melty if the heating’s up high (we’re in Scotland, so that is permanently at the mo) and then cools back down. Totally unscientific, mind.

openupmyeagereyes · 26/02/2018 21:58

I recently ordered this from Easyparapharmacie and am very disappointed, it seems to do nothing for me. I splurged on Baume de rose about a year ago and was similarly unimpressed. The best I’ve found so far is the Glossier balm.com. I have a couple of these and will definitely repurchase.

JDSTER · 26/02/2018 22:07

Yes to the grittiness. I do love it but it’s a bit strange how it goes gritty.
I also like lanolips.

Sparkletastic · 26/02/2018 22:13

I did love Reve until I tried Glossier Balm Dot Com in coconut which is way better.

dontgobaconmyheart · 27/02/2018 01:37

Going against the grain (pun unintended) here but i was disappointed. Had wanted a pot for ages and it didn't live up to expectations, smell didn't do much for me, didn't really leave my lips feeling moisturised, certainly none of this 'leave it on overnight and wake up with soft lips' thing i kept hearing never happened. Not the worst i've used by any means but wouldn't repurchase, think I prefer carmex (cherry) or Lanolips.

Chottie · 27/02/2018 01:52

I didn't get on with it either, too gritty and seemed to make my lips drier.. I use Lanolips or Eucerin.

OCSockOrphanage · 27/02/2018 11:31

Elemis Minty Moisture lip balm stick is wonderful, and less expensive! One in every coat in our house. We get them by the dozen from e bay.

Howaboutthisone · 28/02/2018 14:23

I'm going to give the nuxe a try- on offer on look fantastic. I'm going to have a look at the elemis next too.
