I’m on my way now for roots and blow dry £14 I normally pay £95. She blowed dried it last week for £5 and did a great job so I’m biting the bullet!

I work in an FE college and use our Hair & Beauty salon regularly. They have seen me through growing out a really short haircut brilliantly. Also use them for brow shape and tint and lash extensions. It is much slower than a salon but they are very well supervised

Well that was £9 for a regrowth trim and blow dry! The only thing I will saynits the regrowth dye is probably a shade darker than it could be and I didn’t like having to choose the colour myself. All in all it was great no internet signal though and it did take three hours!! It won’t stop me from going to my regular place but it’s really good for inbetween times

I had a trim at our local college a couple of months ago. Dreadful experience. The trainee was useless and was scared of the supervisor, who had had a charm bypass and I had to force her to go and get help to correct the truly awful wonky cut she gave me. It took forever too. That said, I am going to go back for a facial but appointments go like hot cakes, so it's hard getting in.

I had an Indian head massage at a famous beauty college in London. The therapist chewed gum and pressed my head, face and neck so hard I got bruises. She proudly told me as I was leaving she'd got a job lined up and was weeks off finishing her course.

Terrifying.
