I have platinum hair and want to darken it

I'm a bit bored with it. I know if I wanted to go brown I need to put red in it first (?).
If I wanted to go a darker blonde what would be the best colour to use?

What is your natural colour?

Dark brown but I'm very grey. The sides and front of my hair is pure white naturally but it gets darker and darker towards the back. I have very short hair so I'm not fussed if I wreck it, I just cut it off !

My hair is very grey. I've found that darker colours just don't take or stay in my hair for very long now.
You could try nice and easy ash blonde semi permanent, just to see if you like it.

Try the 8 wash one. The other semis don't wash out.

As your hair is platinum it will likely take pigment very quickly and absorb a lot of colour, making it appear darker so I’d say choose a shade lighter colour than the one you want. And definitely try semi permanent initially as you know eventually you can go back to your original colour. Good luck, I hope it turns out lovely!

Thats what I was worried about , it's very porous on top. I'll definitely start light.
