Good hairdresser in Pinner/Harrow?

Babe · 02/05/2007 11:44

I need a hair cut desperately but my days of Vidal sassoon are over at the moment (just can't imagine breastfeeding there...).

Can anyone suggest a good hairdresser in the Pinner/Harrow area please? Mobile hairdresser would do too.

Thanks

I know an excellent one in Ruislip - my bil is a hairdresser so I get free haircuts, but she is the best I've ever had so I don't mind paying her (average £35). Her name is Jaime and she's based and the Hair and Beauty Workshop opposite the Wimpey. Their phone number is 01895 633420 but be warned she is so good that you will have to book well in advance. That reminds me must book an appointment. I really think she is the best - she even cuts my dds hair.

Oh and don't worry about bf - she has 2 ds of her own and is used to kids. Everytime I go in there, I've no need to worry about my baby son as they're queueing to cuddle him. A really nice place and atmosphere.

OOOPS wrong number - just rang up to book!! It's 01895 623624.

Cashncarry · 02/05/2007 11:56

Mrs Recycle - that's quite a lot of personal information you've given out about your BIL over the internet. I'm not criticising but are you sure she wouldn't mind you publishing her name, place of work and phone number, number and gender of kids in a public forum?

Babe · 02/05/2007 12:00

oh she sounds good - I'll give them a call, many thanks.

No problems babe! Glad to be of assistance.

C&C please read my post before generalising. My bil does have his own website and he lives no where near me but he'd be glad of the publicity so I can post all HIS details if you want to be so bloody nosey!!!

Cashncarry · 02/05/2007 14:17

As I said before Mrs Recycle I wasn't criticising simply pointing out what you might not have noticed yourself.

I find it quite amazing that you would be so shirty about someone trying to be helpful and quite take offence at being called "bloody nosey". I hope I never have the misfortune to bump into on this board again

MrsRecycle · 02/05/2007 14:34

Well you are nosey - you don't live in Pinner and you are not looking for a Hairdresser so why look!

Cashncarry · 02/05/2007 14:51

um, it's a public forum actually so I doubt you could define someone looking at a thread as "being nosey".

However, if you want to feed your aggressive streak by randomly attacking other posters then be my guest

Cashncarry · 02/05/2007 14:55

And actually, a lot of my family live in Pinner and I am looking for a hairdresser, not that it's any of your business [tongue sticking out emoticon]

Sorry to the OP for the hijack!

Honestly, Mrs Recycle, was just trying to be helpful. Let's make up?

MrsRecycle · 02/05/2007 16:18

C&C - olive branch accepted (this once only though - I like a good fight!!). See you on other threads or in Ruislip trying to look for one of my BILs!! Talking of which I must dash out there now, dh blew up our landmower last night and someone on freecycle has offered me one (oh I love freecycle).

Cashncarry · 02/05/2007 16:29

LOL at "like a good fight"! This one was rubbish - there was only the two of us and it lasted all of ten seconds

Good luck with your quest for a lawnmower

ThomCat · 02/05/2007 16:32

D&J Ambrose in Pinner is good

Babe · 03/05/2007 18:14

Thank you too, Thomcat - I've booked with Jaime in Ruislip this time, but I'll look at Ambrose next time I'm in Pinner - is it on the High Street, or on Bridge Street?

Oh excellent Babe - I've just had my hair done by her today. In fact, she and the rest of the girls in the salon had lots of cuddles off my ds.
