Clueless - colours for hazel eyes

I have pale skin and hazel eyes, well they have a brown ring in the middle and are greenish yellow round the outside. And I just can't seem to work out what eyeshadow colours to wear. I've tried sort of gold/brown, purple tones, greens, nothing seems to make them 'pop'.
So if you have eyes like mine what are your go-to shades? Have you got any fab palette recommendations?? TIA

Hazel eyes here and I have navy and midnight purple mascara - makes a big difference (I think!) to when I wore black

I don't tend to wear liner/eye shadow - too scared of it emphasising the lines! but I have navy/dark olive green/plum/purple for the odd evening on holiday

Agree about the coral lipstick too

I also have a red one from Revlon: 240 striking spectacular that lights up my eyes (so people say)
