Any Tracey Neuls fans want to talk to me about fit?

Do you take your normal size or smaller? I found a lovely pair of TN Geeks in the sale but I'm not sure about the fit. I have my usual size (41). They feel a little loose on the heel but snug on the toe, also there's a bit of room in the length.

In the shop they kept trying to shift me down to a 40, which, at least when I tried a pair of boots, I literally couldn't get my foot into, even using a shoe horn. I didn't try a pair of 40 shoes though, just the boots.

Not sure about the Geeks or boots, but I have some TN shoes and I find them true to size. I'm a size 6 and have had no problems at all with both Penny and Jazz (second comfiest shoes ever, I have two pairs of each and wear them almost daily - the winner in my comfiest shoes category is Chie Mihara) and Loop (my first TNs) in size 6 however I also have Diaz in size 6 and find them too roomy, even with insoles. Maybe a one-off issue, as I think Diaz and Loop are exactly the same shape...

Thanks! It may be that they just don't suit my foot (I have quite a narrow heel). I can't see going down a whole size but I think the 41s are just a bit too big in the heel. I'll try them again and see how I feel.

Trying to avoid springing for a pair of boots, which I know will fit. The sale is making it difficult.

Good to know you find them comfy. I hear so many good things about them.

If shoes don’t feel massively comfy in the shop then don’t buy them.

I spent years in Tracey Neuals geeks thinking they would be good for my feet being so flat but actually they’ve no shock absorption.
