Hi all,
i'm getting married next year and having huge problems getting dresses for my sister who is prob size 18/20 with huge knockers and dh's sis who is stick thin size 8 with no tits at all, both will be bridesmaids. Any suggestions on where to get outfits for them for the big day without making either of them look a fool?
cheers

I think if you ask them to contribute, you have to let them pick their own dress.

have a look round this site they do dresses and wraps in different styles there are shops in Bexhill, Eastbourne and Brighton and around the country You could also choose the fabric and get them made It suggests fabric from same piece of material cos of dye changes

so if i pick out a bright orange meringue they will offer to buy their own- brilliant! i must sound really tight but trying to economise wherever i can!

I got my b/maid dresses made.

Material was £75 for both b/maids & 2 flower girls.

Dressmaker charged me £85

This was 9 years ago though!

So might work out cheaper than you think!

I like playing with changing the colour of the dresses or the material

I'd definitely say go for the same colour but different styles. No way is a dress suitable for a size 8 going to look good on an 18. And vice versa.

thanks all of you, some really helpful stuff, off to do some more dress shopping, i'm in the midst of wedding fever, though i'm sure it'll all lose it's shine when it comes to writing the seating plan!
