I have long blonde highlighted hair in good condition. Looks fab when I dry it all nicely and go out....which is once every other month! The rest of the time I scrap it up or it annoys me and looks lank. I used to have a bob so know it suits me ok and I think I would like to do it again. I just keep having visions of mushroom heads or 'mum bob' ( even though I am a mum)! Have linked a picture. Shall I do it? Please give me some success stories of going from long to short. Hoping I will feel more 'done' and have a hair style! 😬

Omg, your hair looks fab!

BitOfFun · 10/02/2018 21:58

Wow, it's gorgeous! You must be thrilled- I love it.

RavenLG · 10/02/2018 22:03

It looks amazing! The cut is so much more flattering for your hair, looks thicker and just lovely!!

Marley45 · 10/02/2018 22:07

Rainy your hair looks fab! Good decision I’d say!

And Resting I love your hair short! Really suits you!

Thsnkyou. Madly googling how the hell to sort it in morning rush though. When working I tend to have to wash and dry it before bed as don't have time to do this in the morning. It is naturally very straight so have to curl it. Guess curling it before bed does help a bit. Am just not very good at it. Any tips?

It's gorgeous!

I use straighteners to put a curl through mine. Find it much easier than a wand/tongs.
Also the babyliss big hair is excellent for adding volume

Merrz · 11/02/2018 15:27

Really nice!!! Good decision.
Could you give us a pic of it when it's just straight?

DeltaG · 11/02/2018 15:35

Looks great!

Also, BitOfFun, yours looks lovely too. I have wavy hair and imagine mine would look similar in the same cut (or at least I hope it would as I keep wondering about having it chopped).

zippyswife · 11/02/2018 17:45

Love it!

Honey1975 · 11/02/2018 17:55

How do you use straighteners to get that wave effect? My hairdresser did it once with straighteners and I loved it but I just can't get mine to wave using them. What am I doing wrong.
Tried the wand but that was a bit too curly for me, i just want waves.

BitOfFun · 12/02/2018 00:58

DeltaG, thank you! I'll add a photo from last week when my hairdresser styled it- much smoother Grin, but I think it's good to see how a hairstyle translates into the real world.

Honey1975, have you tried looking at YouTube tutorials ? They're really useful. It takes practice, but it's very achievable.
