Shoes for Orthotics/in soles

I have various foot problems which mean I’ve recently had to get (overpriced) orthotics made. In my massive footwear collection, they only fit in one pair of boots. I don’t even really like these boots. Goodbye ballet bumps, high heels, wedges, converse, Uggs and over the knee boots. Sad
I’ve had the insoles for a week but my feet are already really uncomfortable without them. Goodbye sippers too.
Can anyone recommend anything stylish that can take a thickish insole? Do I need to go up a size or half size? Heeeeelp!

Think shoes have some with removable footbeds.

Wolky.co.uk have lots of options for shoes with removable footbeds. Some ugly, some ok!

I wear DMs and trainers most days with my orthotics and they are fine. If I do wear something fancy, I just go without orthotics and wear whatever shoes I like (although not very high heels). I am wearing them 95pc of the time, so the odd evening out without them is not an issue.
