Help please ! Hair gone wrong !

Hennaed my copper blond ( dyed ) hair two days ago . Lush assistant said it wd be fine / red . It's orange .
What can I do !!! I must go to work tomorrow !!!!!! Thanks .

You have my sympathy - have had a few radioactive orange experiences with henna myself. I've got darker hair, so no guarantees this will work for you, but I have successfully dyed over henna many times (hairdressers are very cautious especially as there are some metallic Henna's out there). I might be tempted to try a genuine non permanent or short-lived semi (not demi) in a light reddy brown to tone things down a bit to buy yourself some time?

Actually MrsM you're right, I've heard people say Lush henna isn't "proper" henna. It doesn't last as long and doesn't contain metallic salts. This should work in your favour OP.

I have successfully dyed over Lush henna

A couple of options:

1. Attempt to dye over it - I have dyed over lush henna but my hair is dark so less likely to be disastrous.

2 buy a different colour henna from Lush - the Brun or Marron, and use that over the top. They contain indigo (I think / it’s been ages since I worked there so can’t remember) as well as Henna so will add brown tones too which will give you a less orange shade.

I have washed with wash up liquid and purple shampoo
It has slightly dulled it a bit !
Next step decide what to do now that have braved work . I bet they saw me approaching the office !
