Would a maroon handbag be as versatile as black?

I have been lusting after a particular handbag for months & months. It’s jusy come down in to my price range in the sale, but only the maroon/red wine type colour. I had been thinking of the black.

This is to be my every day ‘take to work’ (smart office but not necessarily suits) bag so needs to go with loads of outfits.

Would maroon still work? I’m paralysed with indecision.

Need to decide fast before it sells out! 😅

Another vote for yes. I have a maroon tote for work, it's fabulous.

I would say it is more versatile because it will look right with brown as well as black. I usually have a burgundy watch strap for the same reason.

Thanks all, very helpful comments!
V excited for its arrival. Have ordered myself one of those handbag organisers too from amazon so I can keep it all nice & tidy Smile
