Has anyone seen any maxi dresses without shoe string straps?

As I am big of nork (size 12/14) but would really, really love a maxi dress. Most of the ones I've seen have halterneck or spaghetti straps though which will show my sturdy elastic straps to hideous effect.

I am obsessed with finding the perfect maxi dress. I figure the strappy ones can be worn over a thin T-shirt/camisole. Halternecks are not nice ever. Where have you seen the dresses?

I tried on a gorgeous one today (Whistles) but pricey for a high fashion summer frock and it needed dry cleaning. I want something a bit more everyday, throw on and not to worry if I bin it in Septembe.r
