What I’m wearing today

When I first came across the S&B board, this was my favourite kind of thread, so I wanted to start a new one.

Today was a work day, so I am wearing:
The “Huxley” cable jumper from Jack Wills, in emerald.
Blue high waisted skinny jeans,
Tan imperial explorers from Fairfax & Favor,
Navy ariat fleece & my favourite pony skin belt that’s a light tan cow print.
Bare face; pony tail.

Really happy with my look today wish I could wear it daily but I’ll get funny looks on the school run!

So I’m wearing black undies, slip, navy fine knit cardigan and red tartan circle skirt with Navy courts and sheer tights and French navy fit n flare coat with red handbag.

Sofa day today:

Grey skinny jeans, Next
Green Abercrombie & Fitch hoody, picked up for £3.20 on eBay, possibly because the brand was spelt wrong in the listing.
Sheepskin slipper boots, Sheepland

Red nails
Acid yellow Cos cardi (worn back to front buttoned up)

Today

Skirt - Preen at Debenhams sale buy that I absolutely love and had to wear straight away, so I am happy it didn't rain today 😁

iris that skirt though!!!

Iris where do you live that it is warm enough to wear that skirt??? Or is it that time of year when the south starts getting warm while the rest of us still ruefully look at our trainers and decide 'no, I'm not getting my ankles out yet' and put on our boots yet again.

Today and yesterday have been totally lazy days. I haven’t left the house. Today is:

Yesterday was similar. However I did go out on Friday night and wore:

Wide legged black cropped ponte trousers - Whistles (these are new and amazing. So nice.)

(I wore nude fishnets under my trousers - far too cold for bare ankles here.)
Big cream faux fur coat - Topshop

Day of gym and dog waking today:
Forever 21 grey leggings
Turquoise soul cycle tank top
Neon yellow under armor socks
Supergas (went to yoga - no athletic trainers needed)
Got back from yoga, put on a normal bra, grey Mean Girls t-shirt and a big chunky white cardigan.

Wore a hoody, navy infinity scarf and, as ever, giant puffy grey coat when I went outside.

BoyDog wore his maroon fleece. GirlDog wasn't feeling a coat today, despite it being freezing

Later I will be wearing my Maternity tankini as ds and I are going swimming for the first time! (Hope my swimsuit fits...annoyingly it’s the only one I can find).

Today is raining and I am at work so too cheer myself up I am wearing this shirt. Although I do love my work but shattered from zero sleep 😴

Thank you iris I did chicken out a bit today - round here the average look is athletic casual - but I still wore my fit and flare coat (and got a compliment) with a line denim skirt, heeled brown brogues, navy tights, off white fine knit jumper and navy fine knit cardigan. I don’t really wear make up day to day and hair is just up messy in a clip.

Today we went to the zoo - it pissed it down. So I wore
Black long sleeve tee
Black long sleeve t-shirt dress (mid calf length)
Black wooly tights
Brown knee high boots (flat)
Khaki parka
Houndstooth scarf (to cover up my hair dye mishap this morning - I’m PINK)
Cream bobble hat (now pink from hair dye)

I'm at the office today, wearing:

Boden Pamela jumper in navy
Boden Richmond 7/8 trousers in kelly green
Navy ballet flats, Clarks

I'm not normally a walking Boden advert, but the trousers and jumper do look very nice together - a little bit Audrey Hepburn (if you squint).

Nice that it's warm enough to get my ankles out.

We went swimming!!!!! So tankini top was worn with normal bikini bottoms.

Ds wore his two piece swim suit. Navy shorts and a navy long sleeved swim top with flouro orange crabs. He looked so cute. First time we’d done swimming. Brave Mummy!! He wasn’t fussed by it I got a few smiles.

Black nike internationalists, which I will swap for black patent brogues when I get to work. Think those are probably from office.
Usual face - tinted moisturiser, flicky eye liner. Hair twisted up in a headband up do, because there wasn’t time to dry it this morning!

Today I’m at work - would be in uniform (booo) but it hasn’t arrived yet (thankfully, it’s hideous!) so I’ve gone for -
Black cigarette trousers - Matalan
Royal blue chiffon blouse - Primark
Black jacket - Matalan
Black heels - Dotty Perkins

Face-wise I’ve had to crack out the Dermacol foundation because I dyed my hair red yesterday and my forehead, cheeks, and neck are currently bright pink
I look like a cartoon character. I’m neon. Literally a walking highlighter pen today.

And a grey chunky knit long cardigan. And sunnies. It is lovely today. Bright and crisp but warm. Yay!!

Very casual today as it's mostly school runs and hospital appointments. My 3 months old daughter, who was born early is having all sorts of problems with her heart and vision. Seeing the consultant today about the results of her brain scan and I am so scared they found something. But we have to stay positive for her sake.

Confession: I have been following this (ie lurking), as I love this thread, especially the pics. I actually came on today to say that I love those levis so much iris that I have ordered them (I found them on sale in my size so felt like fate). You have an amazing sense of style.
