Please help me find shoes/boots for people with skinny legs!

I'm trying to find some boots/shoes to wear with casual cord/denim knee length skirts and tights...but I have proper sparrow legs, and everything I try looks ridiculous, like I'm a kid wearing my mums shoes! I have no trouble finding heels, but anything less formal slips around on my feet or gapes massively round my ankles because my feet are narrow and I have skinny ankles and calves.

Can any of you lovely ladies suggest any brands or specific boots/shoes? Thanks

I meant to say, flat or small heels please.

www.duoboots.com

You can order your specific calf size and they are in sale. I'm wearing a pair today.

All boots are for you!!! It's more generous legged people that have the problem finding flattering boots!

FlukeSkyeRunner · 17/01/2018 13:44

Not true, unfortunately MsHarry, I've seen so many wide fit boots, but literally nothing slim fitting on the high street.

I'd love to have legs that skinny!

FlukeSkyeRunner · 17/01/2018 13:47

Maybe, but it's a pain trying to find suitable footwear.

Thanks PNGirl, Duo looks great, a bit pricey for me but worth it to get something which actually fits!

It's possible they might go down a bit further yet. Maybe keep an eye out!

I have the same issue. Most knee length boots are like wellies on me.

I had some fabulous ones from Jones a few years ago, but I don't think they do anything similar any more.

Depending on the size of your foot Childrens shoes and boots are good for slimmer legs/ankles (plus cheaper Grin)

BlaWearie · 17/01/2018 14:08

I had some knee length lace up boots a couple of years ago. You can lace them tight to fit skinny calves. The same ones aren't available any more, but you might be able to find a similar pair.

FlukeSkyeRunner · 17/01/2018 16:10

I'm size 7 so kids shoes don't fit unfortunately. I'll definitely keep an eye on he Duo website.

I have tried children's ones, as I am only a 4, but they are always shorter than I want. And/or the shape of them is wrong, as it very rounded toe boxes so they are obviously children's. I might try again though.

Duo have further reductions now, so I've ordered two pairs 😊 Really hope they fit my funny, narrow feet and legs!

Duoboots brilliant for 'smart' boots. Fly London nice and thin for more casual.

ihavetogoshoppingnow · 25/01/2018 09:06

I’ve got the same problem with narrow feet too I got some knee high boots from kurt Geiger a few years ago that are super skinny on my leg so maybe try there. Or try some ‘sock’ boots? They’re in at the moment

Just in case anyone was waiting with baited breath for a verdict on my Duo boots... they are gorgeously fabulous! I love them. Would highly recommend Duo to anyone having trouble finding quality boots that actually fit :)
