can any one help with combo skin issue

When I wake up my nose and chin are oily. when I put my make up on, I use bare minerals powder. My nose, cheeks and chin are flaky. Wash my face and use oil free moisturiser. Use a night cream. Just wonder if I'm doing it all wrong.
My face has become more dry in the 3 weeks of this new routine as before I'd just wash my face with dove body wash and no moisturisers but suffered with spots,dull skin and same oily t-zone.

I have very combination skin, with flakiness around my nose, and acid toner has really helped. Pixi Glow Tonic really works for me, then applying a serum to help with hydration. The serum I swear by is Vichy Aqualia Thermal in a small glass bottle. I have tried others like Boots, Superdrug, Bobbi Brown, Lancôme but keep coming back to this.

I'm a bit weary now as many mention acid and if salycilc acid dried my face out I guess other ones with be drying?
