Is it worth buying a faux fur coat or faux fur gilet...

I've seen a lovely navy gilet and a black faux fur coat but they are ££

Is it worth spending on them .. will I wear them? Or should I just get some new spring brights?

I bought one recently. Wore it to a posh Christmas party. Don't care if they've been and gone fashion-wise. Felt fabulous, dahling...

I got my black fake fur coat at a charity shop for £2,I wear it to do
the food shop,school run and as a blanket for the dog sometimes, I'd never wear it and think 'I look great' but I've had heaps of compliments on it and its very warm.x

A classic fur coat will never be out of style. Not sure about gilets though- they look a bit too Eskimo for me.

But I can't wear a gilet under a coat as it's too puffy so will only wear it at home and when it's a bit warmer by which time it's prob be out of fashion!

Think I might go for a cosy faux fur coat instead

Fur gilets can look really cool layered over the top of a leather jacket or thinner coat, I used to have one and they are quite versatile for layering.

i have a fluffy fleecy gilet that i wear around the house in the winter and I have a leopardskin faux fur coat which i bloody love and have really appreciated this winter. Ive seen loads of people in faux-fur coats this year and they look brilliant and warm
