Baukjen

I've just stumbled on this brand. I like the look of their stuff. I'm an hourglass shape and suit things with some shape. Do any hourglasses wear Baukjen? Anyone generally have good/bad things to say about the brand?

I always recommend Esprit, their clothes seem to be cut with more room on top, and the quality is very decent.

I am an hourglass and their jersey dresses fit like a dream. I would size down (I am an 8/10 and have to get an 8 in baukjen).

I would recommend their Darton dresses - have 4 of them now in different colours and wear them at least once a week (except the summer).

And am 5ft7 for reference - their dresses hit me just below the knee.

As for decent fitting clothes, as an hourglass of 35-24-37 measurements, am afraid I have to have everything taken in at the waist by a seamstress (my shortcut to things fitting well) or go for 1940s/50s true vintage.

For pencil skirts that won't break the budget, I would recommend Vivien of Holloway.

Came back to say my two dresses arrived, I love them both. They are a bit longer than I’d usually go for (I’m 5”2) they’re what I would call ‘forties length’ to the top of the calf, but as they’re jersey and a bit ruched I can sort of ruch them up a bit more! Very pleased as I love jersey dresses for work and these feel good quality. Will buy more.
