Hi,

I need a decent pair of slippers that can slip on easily and are nice and soft but ok to step outside quickly in if needed.

What are the best?

thx

I have the fake ugg boot variety. I've had three pairs (one every year for the last three years) from next and love them. They are comfy and warm, have a decent sole and look 'normal' if you are taking the bin out or whatever. The next ones are real leather and haven't worn out, I've just replaced them because I spill stuff on them a lot.

I've been on maternity leave for two out of the last three years so wear my slippers a lot btw!

Moshulu slippers are my favourite lasted ages.

I have some bedroom athletics tweed ones (Kate I think). Several years old, and still looking and feeling great. DH and DS often nick them!

Uggs for me too but I had these for Christmas from JL, they are lovely

I just got these slipper boots, they are so warm and I love them. A bit on the small side regarding size. They have a plastic y sole so you could pop outside if not wet

DH & I both hated our Mahabis - the front would slip off mine and dh's wore a hole within 6 month. I love my ugg slippers or DH's JustSheepskin are a decent mid-range option.

TheletterZ · 09/01/2018 21:38

Furry crocs, they give good foot support, a warm and cosy and you can pop outside in them no problem. Not the best looking though.

I have these from Moshulu. Hard soles, comfy, lasted 2 years so far. I LOVE them.

I bought fly flot when I had plantar fasciitis and they have been amazing both indoors and out doors

BestIsWest · 09/01/2018 21:45

Got some just Sheepskin ones in Homesense for £11 this week.

thisgirlrides · 09/01/2018 22:22

Oh wow @BestIsWest never thought to look in there for slippers. Will hunt obsessively pop in from time to time and hope to grab a pair Grin

BluebellGal · 10/01/2018 00:20

Totes isotoners - so comfortable and you can wear them curled up on sofa as they are flexible

I would love to get slippers that support my fallen arches.
Does anyone know of supportive slippers please.

TillyVonMilly · 10/01/2018 16:31

I got some Sorel slippers about six months ago, I’m really happy with them. Usually my slippers start dropping to bits after about five months Confused

Bue · 10/01/2018 16:37

Loved my Mahabis at first but the quality is poor for the price. The material on the front was completely worn away in well under a year. This time I am getting Glerups.

rocky4 · 10/01/2018 17:11

These !! I've had mine 2 years and look brand new. Wear them all the time.

The aforementioned Haflingers are extremely supportive, for anyone who has high arches. They are brilliant all-round.

Shepherd. Sooo good.
