Where to buy affordable gorgeous lingerie

Just as in the title really. Many many moons ago, La Senza was my go to place for lovely lingerie and it felt like a real treat (lovely wrapping, scented beads etc). Then it went to pot before going pop!!! Where can I buy lovely lingerie these days that feels a little special? I want to treat myself.

Boux Avenue ? Ann summers has surprisingly nice underwear sometimes . Their sale is really good too.

John Lewis, House of Fraser

Victoria secret? They have very affordable bundle offers

PicklingGherkins · 26/12/2017 13:53

Thank you all for the ideas. I've realised that I have no nice lingerie anymore after years of whittling down (and not being bothered) and I'm at a point where I want to make some effort for myself again. I have tomorrow off so online shopping it is.

I love the Rosie Huntingdon-Whiteley (or however it is spelled) range at M&S. Good range of sizes too.

Second vote for Rosie @ M&S

A third vote for Rosie at M & S. Its lovely

Fourth vote for Rosie at M&S, although I am very pissed off that they seem to have stopped doing thongs, and they were the comfiest out there. All washes well too despite being a lot of it being silk/ silk blend.

Have a look at bluebella. It's lovely quality and designs. Some pretty raunchy but some a bit more sensible. Prices are OK and the sales are good.

Strongbeatsskinny · 27/12/2017 09:26

Another vote for Rosie but do try on to find the fit and style for you. A balcony bra may be right for some where as a the plunge version might be good the next. They also do high apex plunge and a full cup.

There are plenty of brands out there too like gossard, Panache, Freya, curvy Kate the list goes on. It’s a good time to buy now things are in the sales happy shopping.

I went to Rigby and Peller yesterday and got 2 bras in the sale for £18 and £30 - they're fab and normally beyond my budget

Thank you all again. I've had a look around and found some lovely stuff. Rosie at M&S is gorgeous but unfortunately not available in my size (I forgot to mention that I'm a 34f which is awkward). I'm having a lovely day working through my newfound list of places to try though so thanks again. Ooo I've always dreamed of rigby and peller (sp??)
