Recommend me a backpack

Hello!

I’m after a light weight but stylish backpack, either leather or nylon, can be small. I just need it to fit some nappies, wallet and toys. Needs to have an easy opening, as I’m planning to use this for my day to day bag when out and about with my 10 month old

I have my eye on this Burberry bag but it’s way too expensive ! But something along these lines

Does anyone have any recommendations? Thank you

No suggestions re makes but one thing to consider is safety. I took my lovely knomo padded backpack to London and when i got to Kings Cross on the way home, some bastard had taken my purse out of it. I didn’t feel a sodding thing. So try make sure whatever you get has style features that will make valuables harder to take. Or wear it on your front in busy places.

I guess that’s knomo off the list then

I got one from Jaeger which looks very similar to the Burberry one, which I also had my eye on!

Rebecca Minkoff Julian backpack in nylon.
It has a hidden pocket closest to your back for extra security plus you can change how the central zip section locks as well. It is one of the few which is comfortable even when worn in the front.
Really pleased with mine, it looks smart too.

batty that's what puts me off backpacks generally. Years ago I had one that sort of closed up and hide the zip when it was worn as a backpack.

It’s batty here after a name change. It’s certainly put me off rucksacks but after the purse knicking incident I I sent off for a wrist purse (like a sports wrist band but with a Zip and when I go anywhere busy (esp to London ) I put my keys, cards and money in it.
