Hi, after unexpected pay out from old job (not going back afer mat leave) I can finally afford to get some much needed new clothes. Don't want to spend a huge amount but do want to look fashionable again as I'm feeling very frumpy since dd born 7months ago. She's a very sicky baby so need things I can mix and match ideally so can change top for instance without changing whole outfit. Its for everyday wear and occassional nights out but more concerned with looking semi ok in day just for groups etc. When I had the time and money my favourite shops were prob oasis, warehouse type stuff but open to suggestions. I am trying to lose weight still just to further complicate things but am a 12-14 at the mo and quite tall. So any ideas welcome!

I think leggings are a must have

I would get cropped and a long pair

Smock tops are great for day time too. Primark do them dirt cheap. Along with pumps for £3 in all different colours.

ooh ok have one pair of leggings but didnt know if they'd be too hot in summer? Mind u, we are still in april, keep thinking its june or something. What do you think about colours for this year? I suit greens and some corally oranges ther seem to be loads of brights about...

oh thanks, we don't have h and m but can try the others, need to get my mum or someone to babysit probably...always end up spending half the time holding dd otherwise. Used to love shopping but now find it such an ordeal partly due to extra weight, less time etc.
