I’ve heard Essie gel is good?

I'm very hard on my nails, even a salon polish rarely lasts for more than 3-4 days. I used Sally Hansen polish and gel topcoat from Tesco for a do last Thursday and its been brilliant, still no chips or peeling, just wearing a bit at the very tips of my nails.

I really like the Essie gel and find it lasts about a week. The wine colour does really well on my nails, but my friend didn't have as much luck with the navy. Gorgeous colours though, easy application, quick drying.

You need a base coat, polish, second coat and top coat.

I’ve been using the Rimmel two step gel with good result this party season. Got 7 days wear with the occasional top up coat. This was on an unforgiving navy blue too.

Two coats of Maybelline Superstay 7 with a top coat of Seche Vite lasts longer than anything else I've tried.
