Teen DS spotty forehead?

I’m rubbish at beauty products but want to help 15yr old DS sort out his spotty forehead. Confused about what to advise him.
He told me he used dove soap (no no no!) and know that he bought a harsh exfoliater, which I also think is a no. But what do I advise? He’s not got spots anywhere else, so it could be his fringe but it’s a catch 22 - he won’t trim it because of the spots...
Any advice?

Is he using any hair products and washing his hair regularly? What worked for my teen was a combination of zineryt and benzoyl peroxide cream. Then she started getting spots on her cheeks and forehead around her hairline. I realise it was caused by her hair product - using serums - so stopped that and now loads better. Look up pomade acne.

Useful tip, Flowers and also to pin fringe (we won’t persuade him to cut it).

Don't waste money - take him to the dr.
