....ds gave me some for christmas and just used it with a bit of trepidation in case i am allergic but i think it smells lovely

dp just came in (chocholic) and started looking really hopeful..what's that i can smell he says excitedly

so he smelt me and says it does smell nice but clearly a bit disappointed that it wasn't edible

I shall check the make ....it is sephora follement chocolat this is the body cream..does it say on there you can eat it? don't seem to have rashed up yet fingers crossed

I think 'consommer' means 'use' more than 'consume'.

(I don't like chocolate-flavoured stuff, but that's my personal preference.)

I'll disagree with you on that one, Cockney: I've just had a look at the labels on a collection of French toiletries, and none of them use the word "consommer" whereas food products do...

Anyway, if the object is lick the stuff off, I think I'd go for Green & Black's chocolate spread
