Ugg alternatives

I've decided I want some sheepskin boots for Christmas, basic ugg style with proper soles as we have cold hard floors.

Am I right in thinking with Uggs you're paying for the name and cheaper alternatives exist? Would love your suggestions (and also any sizing tips - I'm a standard UK8 but will be buying online)

Mine are Ella boots, bought from Amazon. They are great - I've got two pairs; one long tan and the other short (ankle) length in dark brown. They really last as well - I had my first pair for years.

Just looked on Amazon and they've got different styles - what about something like this for indoors?

Ukala. They're an Australian company. Read suede and sheepskin, and about 1/4 price of Uggs. Mine are 10 years old and still cosy. They last forever.

My Uggs are about 15 years old and are still in good shape. They got worn outside (but not in the rain) back in the day as well. I'd treat yourself to a proper pair if you can afford to, you'll be much happier with them than a knockoff.
