last bra = £55

nallydoolally · 19/04/2007 19:11

about £30

ViscountessPetitLapin · 19/04/2007 19:11

Maternity ones (bleugh) are cheapish, but normally the norks are encased in La Perla, so £40 upwards I suppose... or M&S for more everyday stuff.

JackieNo · 19/04/2007 19:12

Generally in the mid 20s.

munz · 19/04/2007 19:13

I go to contessa and get the triuph or ballet ones (prefer the former) last ones were £45 for 2 - DH nearly had a fit - cos they're 'only to hold your norks up' his words not mine!

PestoMonster · 19/04/2007 19:13

Wow! I spend about half what you all spend. M&S or Matalan usuaally.

ViscountessPetitLapin · 19/04/2007 19:14

munz, unless he's going to walk around with you, performing that service, he's not allowed to comment

stitch · 19/04/2007 19:16

vindication!
i was begining to think i was the only person in the world spenign that much

pesto, are you a smallish size? coz i just dont find anything cheaper will hld me in properly

JackieNo · 19/04/2007 19:17

Yes - I suspect the bigger the norks, the bigger the amount you have to pay to get a bra that fits properly and gives you a good shape.

ja9 · 19/04/2007 19:17

if i go out looking for one, about 25 squid.

often pick one up in asda tho' when one takes my fancy. about £10.

could easily justify spending more - still using one that my mum bought me for going to uni 10 yrs ago!

DimpledThighs · 19/04/2007 19:18

I am a weird size so really easy to find wonderbra etc in the sales or TKMaxx.

Most expensive bra DP boought me - he won't tell me how much it was because I am fucked up weird about money.

munz · 19/04/2007 19:21

viscount! I wouldn't hear him complaining about that job lol.

MrsGumby · 19/04/2007 19:37

The last time a bought some sexy underwear it cost me about two shillings and ninepence . About to stop breastfeeding so maybe I should think about a trip to M&S to stock up on some lacy numbers. Don't think my grey feeding bras do it for my DH somehow...

michaelad · 19/04/2007 19:41

I usually get my stuff in places like House of Fraser. Fab fitting department. Average price £25 - £35.

brimfull · 19/04/2007 19:42

about 30quid ,have large norks and fantasie or freya are the only ones I like, although would love a rigby&peller one.

Have discovered bras from Avon catalogue.
They are a fiver and are the most comfy, the only bras I have worn where the straps stay up all day.
BArgain.

prettymum · 19/04/2007 20:24

ive started buying mine off ebay, they are so much prettier than the ones i buy from shops and fit better, normally end up getting the for £6-10

Flamesparrow · 19/04/2007 20:32

Last 2 were £25 per nork too

Hulababy · 19/04/2007 20:33

I tend to go to the retail outlet and get the branded makes cheaper from there.

PestoMonster · 19/04/2007 20:52
