Anyone here work at Toni & Guy and can tell me WHY....

I've just phoned to book my regular highlights and have been told that because it's over three months since I last had my hair coloured, I have to go in and have another patch test.
I've never had to have it done before (not since the first time I went there) and have had my hair coloured for yonks without any problems - but apparently it's salon policy now.
I can only just find time to get my hair cut and coloured at all. Having to do a 30+mile round trip for a flippin' patch test every three months is not going down well with me.
Any ideas why??????

3 months isn't long at all! they're obviously covering their backs over something

HuwEdwards · 18/04/2007 14:57

do they charge for patch tests?

sweetheart · 18/04/2007 14:58

it's probably to make it annoying for you so that next time you re-book within 3 months.

Birdly · 19/04/2007 08:15

Patch tests are free, Huw.

Sweetheart - you could have a point there. But there's no way I could afford to get my hair highlighted at T&G every three months (am SAHM at the moment). Surely that can't be good for your hair, either.

It's a right kerfuffle!
