Not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes :) - I"m 46 years old, fairly tall (5'8") and fairly slim built - trying to fit in exercise amongst a full time job, running a household and looking after 2 teenage kids + hubby is a challenge .. in addition to trying to look after myself :). Anyway, I'm looking tired ... not something that a good night's sleep will resolve, but more along the lines of needing a bit of a helping hand with a facelift. However, I have never had much in the way of boobs to speak of and have been debating having a boob job since I was mid 20's. We've never had the money for it (and we're not exactly rolling in it now,) but I'm guessing it's getting to the stage where it's now or never ... So, the problem is: I can only really afford to have one or the other done .. (facelift or boobs - not one boob or the other :))) - So, what do you guys reckon - facelift and look years younger and rested, but keep the smaller breasts, or have the boobs I want but still look like I need a good night's sleep and have a facelift in a few years' time - I just don't know what would give me more confidence ... any suggestions?

Here you go!

I knew before I went for the consult that half the problem was my brow needed lifting; just eyelids is a breeze by comparison. I had a partial brow lift. He also filled my huge crack between my eyes.

My eyelids started drooping in my 20s and it started to effect my vision. The surgeon said I could probably have it done on the NHS therefore, but I opted for private.

*affect. And just to be clear. I had a partial brow lift AND my eyelids done.

PPS. The crack was filled with a tiny bit of liposuction from my thigh. OMG the bruising and the soreness! I don't know how people have their entire legs done!

The after photo was taken about 3 weeks post-surgery; the scars have faded nicely and aren't visible now.

What a fabulous result Smile

I would choose face over boobs 100%. I also agree big boobs arent as fashionable now (annoyingly for me as I was naturally blessed Grin BiscuitBiscuit

Pleasantly surprised at the positive comments - I've recent had 'some work done' and clicked on this thinking MN was very anti cosmetic surgery!

Wow, pups - incredible- can I ask who your surgeon was / clinic was?

Missonihoni · 30/11/2017 18:54

Honestly your going to say oh god no when you read this but it was the best thing we ever did.

I had a boob job maybe 1.5 years ago I stayed in a private accommodation for my recovery which was a week and seen my surgeron every other day. Someone cooked all my meals for me so I could relax. I stayed overnight in the hospital the first night with a private nurse in my private room.

The best part was it cost me 2700 pound because I got it done in turkey by a leading surgeon.

My mum went two years prior to me and had a boob lift lipo and a tummy lift. Her belly was saggy with empty skin she was a 14:16 she's now a size ten to eight !

You could get a face lift and boob job for around 5000 al inclusive !

Best thing we ever did im going back for revision rhinoplasty next year as transform the U.K. Company botched my nose and won't fix it without another 4.5k !!

If you want details where I went please ask. Don't be put off by going to them as they are abroad. It was far better service than I received in the U.K. After he did my nose operation at transform j never saw him again.

Pupsiecola · 01/12/2017 00:17

Aridane I had it done in Southampton. Do PM me if you want further details...

Have to say, after the initial 2 weeks when I looked like I'd been badly beaten I haven't looked back. It did take a little while to get used to a bit of a different face though. My DH said the same. Lovely to be able to wear eye make up :-)

I had a boob job in Cyprus in 2005.
They look as good now as they did then, no sagging, very natural. No regrets.

I'd have a half face lift too if I could afford it.
