Explain this Crocs thing to me....

I understand that the holes keep your feet cool and that they're really comfortable but don't they look a bit like, well, Minnie Mouse shoes? Is it a they're-so-comfortable-who-cares situation or is there some other kind of appeal that eludes me?

you can customise them, put things in the holes.

they do few different stles though, the flip flops are much more normal looking I think
