WHEN I go shopping and get loads of nice things, I feel like a fisherman that’s caught loads of fish 🙈

Yes! Or like a hunter gatherer who has successfully hunted and gathered- no wonder shopping can be addictive (love it but Sad and Blush as well).

Definitely hunter gatherer. Scoured the plains and found the good stuff

Oh definitely! I have fond memories of the days when I had disposable income to burn and no responsibilities and could go shopping for hours.

I used to love getting up early, going into Oxford and getting a coffee, then sitting outside Blackwells watching the city wake up. Then Browns in the covered market for breakfast (proper greasy spoon), Next Clearance, BHS, HMV, Debenhams, New Look, a good mooch round the little independent shops, Thorntons (before they started making wax melts instead of actual chocolate), and home with a huge pile of bags to gloat over Grin

I plan sale shopping like a military operation, so I think I’m rather like Alexander the Great. Once I’ve identified the object of my desire, I’ll find the best prices and when the sales start, I’m ready to pounce.

Glad it’s not just me !!
