my older sister did it was a lovely top she looked great, she decided on buying it and returned into the changing room with me out side when I heard a squeak, she was completley stuck tight with her arms up by her ears squeaking about not being able to move,

I had to go in and pull it hard off her, the whole changing room could see because i had to step out of the curtain to get a good hold, The ituation wasnt helped by me pissing myself laughing saying oh you are stuck in my loudest voice

this episode is bought up every time we go shopping

I got stuck in a wedding dress once. It was a huge meringue thing with hundreds of layers of net in the skirt. Tried to pull it over my head, got stuck in the bodice with arms up above my head and my tatty grey knickers and unkept bikini line on show to the whole shop.

My mum, sister and friend were crying with laughter and unable to help me so I had to struggle for a good five minutes to get out of the bloody thing.

I get stuck in those gym tops with hidden support!
I once almost toppled out through the curtain in JJB sport with a Reebok one trapped around my head!

deaconblue · 17/04/2007 18:13

That has happened to me. The panic. I was certain I would have to rip it to get it off.

ok, good. I like it. Not so good with collared shirts though, always seem to ride up around my round shoulders

Kbear · 17/04/2007 18:19

I almost had a panic attack in a shift dress today - thankfully my mum saved me and helped me out of it but I would have had to run out of the changing room screaming if she wasn't there!

It was a nice dress too but a zip wouldn't have gone amiss!

BirdyArms · 17/04/2007 18:28

When I was about 12 was sent on a very rare shopping trip with my dad to buy a new pair of jeans. Decided to take full advantage of my mum's absence to buy the tightest pair of jeans that I could find (when skinny jeans were in the first time round). Tried them on and couldn't get them off over my ankles and mortifyingly had to get dad to help me get out of them.

CodHun · 02/07/2007 14:41

.

frascati · 02/07/2007 14:44

OMG yes I have

I was trying on a broderie Anglaise bustier thinking I was still a size 10

Anyway it ha da zip at the side and I could not get it off.

So had to walk out into the shopfloor with bustier round my waist, vest top over the top and the lady cut it off. She said it must have been faulty lol

I couldn't get out of that shop quick enough!

tasja · 02/07/2007 14:49

Yes. I tried on a beautiful dress with a zipper at the back. When I wanted to take it off the zipper got stuck halfway, then I tried to squeeze out of the dress. Dress halfway over head - stuck again. Dress couldn't go up or down. I was standing there waving my arms around, jumping up and down.
Later thought - WHAT now, call for assistans? Call husband on his phone? (he's standing in the shop)
NO no no - would be to embarrest.
LOL!
After calming myself down I managed to get out. Threw the dress on the floor. Got dressed, marched outside.
DH asked "Arn't you going to take it?"
Yeah right

Gingermonkey · 02/07/2007 15:29

I got stuck in a really horribly expensive dress once and had to rip it a little bit to get out of it . I have never moved so quickly trying to get out of the shop before they realised. It happens quite a lot, I often get stuck in my own clothes too, which is very annoying

I have a few times. It's always on my mahoosive norks too.

Why as well, when it happenes, do I alwys do that sort of wriggly hoppy dance type thing to help ease myself out of it

Birdly · 02/07/2007 17:04

No, but I did have to be cut out of my jeans once by a work colleage when the zip got stuck and I was desperate (REALLY desperate) for a wee!!
