Anyone had fillers/Botox for nose to mouth/marionette lines???

I cannot stand the lines at corners of mouth (marionette?) and my nasolabial folds. The marionettes get to me the most! Do excersises work? Has anyone had fillers or Botox? Love to see pics?!

I haven't but as I understand Botox wouldn't be the best for this area. Think fillers are recommended. I'm currently doing facial exercises (from a you tube vid) which I think is helping. I also have a Rio facial toner £70 on Amazon which I use in the jowel area. Also having a laser facial next month which is supposed to increase collagen production.

I'm hoping all this will help this area!

Someone else my help with the filler question.

Another thread on fillers higher up,

I got quoted for fillers today. Holy hell its expensive!

Blossom4538 · 15/11/2017 20:08

I know! Don't think I can afford at the minute really but would love to! How much were you quoted?

Starts about £250 here, for mouth lines, depend how many areas you want i expect

Austentatious · 15/11/2017 20:55

they said they charge per syringe for fillers, not per area. For 1x light (eyes) and 1x heavy (cheeks, to lift) £900 and £1200 if 2x heavy are required
Which is good as it removes the decision!

Blossom4538 · 15/11/2017 21:06

I think it was going to work out around £500 here

OMG that is expensive, I know someone who had cheek fillers and nothing like that
Lipline fillers were £250
They do charge by the syringe ,but that is very expensive
What area is that in?

Strokethefurrywall · 15/11/2017 23:42

I had juverderm for my admittedly tiny resting marionette lines back in March and I love it. I had the remainder in my upper lip but it didn't make much difference.
Next year I'm going to look at having more done not big fishlips.
I had injections to numb the area though so it was only slightly punchy. Wouldn't do it without pain relief though!!
Afraid I don't have before/after shots as the lines were quite minimal.
