Don't your feet get sweaty when you don't wear socks with them?

If I bought a pair I wouldn't want to wear socks with them.

I'm late to this discussion admittedly, but I'm sure you're right. They'd look even more bananas with socks, but without they must be sweaty. Surely they're just for paddling?

Trinityrhino · 16/04/2007 16:38

exactly leopard,

now come on why aren't you telling me, you might be able to persuade me to buy some

Trinityrhino · 16/04/2007 16:46

I'm going to keep bumping till you closet croc wearers come out and speak to me

Scootergirl · 16/04/2007 16:48

They don't get sweaty - I've got some.
Maybe I don't have sweaty feet and everyone else does

Trinityrhino · 16/04/2007 16:50

HOW do they not get sweaty, you are wearing pplastuc shoes
Or am I missing the point, are they not plastic

Norma had somer one when she came to my house I tried them on and they were comfy but she had socks on with them and they weren't primas

surely without socks you would sweat.

I guess that can't be plastic can they, what are they made of?

It's some kind of foamy resiny stuff - there's a proper name for it but you'd need a real Croc-spotter for that! If you try here they're only £17.

ProfYaffle · 16/04/2007 16:54

they're not plastic, they're some sort of rubbery stuff. i love my mary janes but i step out of the primas.

Scootergirl · 16/04/2007 16:55

Primas are about half a size smaller than they should be - I'm trying to shrink mine in the dishwasher as we speak...

ProfYaffle · 16/04/2007 16:56

ooh, do tell if it works!

Scootergirl · 16/04/2007 16:57

Apparently heat does shrink them and the trick is to get them as soon as the cycle is finished and put them on so they mould to the shape of your foot...
Will let you know x

Trinityrhino · 16/04/2007 18:24

so scooter, how are your crocs???

OP posts:
Scootergirl · 16/04/2007 18:32

Good actually! I'm wearing the silver ones with stripy socks and a denim skirt (not a fashion choice but you're supposed to put socks on for some reason) and the shrinking seems to have worked.
Oh and obviously DH can't keep his hands off me in my gorgeous get-up

scorpio1 · 16/04/2007 18:32

ooh i have just ordered some silver ones!

Scootergirl · 16/04/2007 18:33

I'm glad it's not just me

Trinityrhino · 16/04/2007 18:33

I want some baby pink ones

you mean straight after the shrinking you have to wear socks....not all the time

OP posts:
Scootergirl · 16/04/2007 18:35

I've only seen bright pink in the prima ones - I bet baby pink is LOVELY.
And yes socks are not essential under-croc wear, at least not in my house

Trinityrhino · 16/04/2007 18:36

I saw baby ink ones on the official crocs site but thats american

OP posts:
Trinityrhino · 16/04/2007 18:36

or baby pink even

Blondilocks · 16/04/2007 18:56

I like the flip flop ones.. not convinced on the others ... they aren't very pretty, even the purple ones.

ProfYaffle · 16/04/2007 19:15

I have the silver ones, I know someone with the pink ones, they are PINK iykwim

Fimbo · 18/04/2007 13:09
