A cheaper alternative to l'occitane almond shower oil?

I love the almond shower oil, especially for shaving legs. But it's not cheap.

Anyone found a cheaper alternative? :)

I love it too, you can buy it in bags to refill the bottle and it works out slightly cheaper

it lasts for aaaaaaaaaaaaages though. I got the bottle and large refill from QVC last summer and am still using it.

I don't use it every single day, but it's the one I use most.

Nuxe shower oil

I love the L'Occitane shower oil and I've recently discovered Ritual's shower oil which is lovely and leaves your skin feeling nicely moisturised. It's £8 but I picked mine up in an outlet branch for £6.25. There are several scents. I had the green one and will rebuy.

IT is lush and does last for ages, but I always feel like it's a bit of a splurge

in fact I went back through my emails and I got mine from L'occitane, not QVC and it was April!

So I'd say it really is worth it! so long as you are not basting yourself with it three times a day! :o

Dove shower oil. Something like £5 for 200ml. I used to use the L'occitane stuff but found it too pricey. I think the Dove stuff works just as well! I think Supercritical have it half price at the mo.

I hate l’occitane shower oil. I had to give it to my DH to use up. I need a shower oil replacement.

Maybe the Dr Bronners almond soap? Also expensive to be fair but very concentrated...

The Palmers’ Cocoa Butter Moisturising Oil is brilliant - cheap and great on my sensitive skin. Smells great too.

Nivea do a shower oil much cheaper than loccy.

It also turns to milk when wet, so it’s almost the same. Doesn’t smell as lush, but I suppose you could mix a bit of the almond in to it and it might pass.

If you get the 250ml bottle plus 500ml eco refill set (either from the shops when they do a special offer or from QVC) it makes it a lot cheaper. Otherwise the Ritual ones are a bit cheaper and have some nice scents or the Dove one works fine and is very cheap but doesn't smell anywhere near as good.

Have you ever tried coffee scrubs? They make your skin like silk! I can’t believe how good they are - no shower gel or creme can have the same affect I think!

I've used the Nivea on and the palmers one and didn't like them.

Will investigate some of the suggestions here, although might not use the coffee scrub for shaving my legs 😄

I had an okay one from boots- either no 7 or sanctuary, I can't remember- it did the job but wasn't as nice as the almond one!

Which is the best Ritual shower stuff scent? SIL has asked for something from that range for Christmas but don’t know which is nicest as I’ve never used it.

Jo Malone do gorgeous shower oils too, but can’t imagine they are any cheaper!

Sparkle I tried them all in the Rituals shop - I like the green bottle best. I can't remember the name.
