I can return them right??

Also I guess that's just the price of ONE Erdem dress normally so I'm getting a bargain? Grin

Me too Chardonnays. I can't even quite articulate why. It's kind of pointless to release designer collections at more manageable prices for most people.....to then sell at inflated prices on eBay.

botemp · 02/11/2017 20:24

I don't like it either, it ruins the whole point of accessibility. Yes, it's limited in stock but that's part of the game and probably necessary for the designer's participation. I've only ever sold on on Vestiaire months or years later when I realised it was not for me, think I broke even or had a small loss. Wish they would limit how many items you're allowed to buy, think they tried it once but the staff got a lot of abuse as a result.

Etymology23 · 02/11/2017 20:28

I got excited because this range looks great!

Then I remembered the h and m sizing doesn't suit me. In most shops I wear a 12. According to h and m I need a size 20 bust, 16 hips and 12 waist. That 4 size differential is totally gonna work :(

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 02/11/2017 20:29

I understand the limited stock thing, Im fine with it. I'm happy to pay a higher price as well.

But the buy to resell ruins it all. I'd given up on recent colabs, because of it but this time I really hoped to be able to get something.

I don't see the point of releasing a collection to line the pockets of re sellers.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 02/11/2017 20:32

Yes, Bo, nothing accessible about that.

Floisme · 02/11/2017 21:08

Thanks Botemp sounds as if everything I liked has gone then Grin Probably for the best. I won't be chasing them on Ebay.

Shopgirl1 · 03/11/2017 21:30

Wish I’d ordered the black lace dress and blue scarf when I had the chance.
I won’t be bidding crazy prices on eBay though.
Based on sizing details posted here I fear the couple of size 12 things I did order may have to be returned.

botemp · 03/11/2017 23:10

The blue scarf seems to be available again on the app, also the blue and green scarf and some of the men's items. Perhaps the OP will relieve you of your 12s if her 10s don't fit, Shop.

Speaking of ridiculous eBay prices, got a message from a friend of a friend of a friend asking if I'd sell my little loot to her over the price I paid for them. How she heard about it I have no idea. Thought it was a bit odd since there's a few sizes between us, nor is it really her style. Replied I wasn't really interested regardless, then she proceeded to ask if she could have the paper bag (which I'm actually much enamoured with) and hangers, it was at this point that I opened up eBay, and bloody hell people are paying twenty quid for those paper shopping bags you get for free! Similar prices for the hangers Shock The staff t-shirts also seem to be hot items. eBay is fecking weird.

Shopgirl1 · 04/11/2017 09:27

Blue scarf not on my app, must have sold again :(

Paintbox · 04/11/2017 09:45

Agreed it’s completely unfair for people to buy specifically to sell at a profit. Pp who said she did this - unfair. Just the same as people doing this with gig tickets which they are trying to stamp out

botemp · 04/11/2017 11:44

It's this one, right? It's still available on mine. I'm not in the UK so that may be the difference. If you're really avid to have it I can send it on, not sure how much it would cost, but it can't weigh too much.

Shopgirl1 · 04/11/2017 12:07

Wow botemp, I would really appreciate that if it didn’t put you to too much trouble. I’ve just had a look at different markets, I’m in Ireland and it seems Ireland and the UK are the same, but I checked other markets and remaining stock does seem to vary.
My tops have just arrived. I thought they might use the bags and hangers for online orders also, but they are just packaged like any online order. I got the black silk and lace one and the cream lace, both fit, the cream is quite short and not generous, but it’s really pretty. I’m impressed with the quality, but no way would I pay the prices on eBay. They are just crazy..

botemp · 04/11/2017 12:18

It wouldn't be much trouble, shipping from H&M is free currently and I can't imagine it would cost much to send by post. You can check www.postnl.nl/en/ for approximate cost. For tracked/insured I'd just have to do a quick comparison who comes out cheapest. This one also just came back in stock, and as a non silk scarf wearer now it's even tempting me Shock

Shopgirl1 · 04/11/2017 12:21

That one is lovely too, but I’m really like the blues in the other one.
No new stock coming back on Irish site, just socks and shoes there :(

chewiecat · 04/11/2017 15:13

So they've just arrived! I'm going through them now, there's so many Blush

From what I can see the quality is great, much better than your average H&M clothes

Luckily looks like the 10 is ok on me, maybe the fit is a bit loose on them?

The earrings are gorgeous and comes in a lovely gift box. I may give it to my sister for xmas Smile

The boucle suit looks amazing though my husband is a bit Hmm on them .. lol

Wow, that is some haul! Hope you are happy with your purchases.

botemp · 04/11/2017 20:23

chewie, you're giving me some proper heart palpitations over here at the thought of DS and DCat turning that box into one very expensive kitty litter Shock

I'm curious about how the boucle suit looks on now, any chance of a picture?

chewiecat · 05/11/2017 14:22

Here's a picture of the suit jacket, it is really beautiful and it has so many really pretty details, like buttons, lining, etc are all so clever and well thought of. I have added some pictures of the details

It is a bit of a boxy/loose fit, so here I am wearing a 10! Grin

I'm not sure whether to keep it or not, DH keeps giving me this face whenever I wear it Hmm

Sadly the skirt doesn't fit Sad my arse is too big

Thanks for the photo chewie - it looks beautiful, why doesn't he like it? Shame about the skirt though.

Is the skirt above the knee? Please tell me it is cos then I can lay it to rest and stop thinking about it Grin

chewiecat · 05/11/2017 21:26

It's knee length sorry!

It's so pretty Grin
I think my husband dislikes the colour

OP posts:
chewiecat · 05/11/2017 21:28

I don't think I can wear them both together at the same time, too preppy for my style. But potentially I could wear each on it's own separately

OP posts:
botemp · 05/11/2017 22:27

I agree, it looks better apart. Or at least more wearable for every day. I do like the jacket a bit more fitted on you than the intended boxy fit, it really looks great. Lovely with the lace top underneath too. I noticed a lot of the collection worked really well together layered even if by eye you wouldn't expect it to as they're all so lovely and intricate by themselves. I love my pleated lace white blouse and would never think to wear the blue cropped cable knit sweater over it but I did out of sheer laziness whilst fitting it and it was such a nice surprise to see them come together and what really sold me on them both.

Floisme · 05/11/2017 22:41

It's knee length? Goddammit Grin

I probably wouldn't wear them together either.
