When the sizes on the website go;

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13

Is the 5 an adult size 5, ie a 38? Part of me thinks it must be as there is no such thing as a child size 1. But then surely they don't do kids shoes that go up to adult size 7 or 8?

I'm really confused and want some shoes for me!

I would say that its from teeny(like 3 months for the size 1) to about 8 yrs ish (for the size 13)

No, still not sure. Their school shoe styles are in those sizes. Nobody's going to put a tiny baby in black buckle up pointy toe shoes.

I'd have said they'd start around a 5 infant and go up to about 4 adult but may vary by style. dd had some weeny ones from there once probably a 3 or 4 but they were very little girly.

dd's first pair were a size 3 or 4 I think, that is when she was about a year old.

After size 13 I think it then goes to size 1. Adult shoes usually start at size 3.

hmm , they're not in the Baby Girls section so they may go up to a adult 5 but the Directory itself may be clearer , can you call and ask ?

I've had this problem with Next shoes before. And I have the solution (only discovered because I was ordering identical sandals in different sizes for ds1 and ds2). If you put them in your basket you can find out the prices - and the bigger sizes are more expensive. So if you put in a 5 and it comes up cheaper than a 13, then it's a teeny size. if it's more expensive than a 13, it's an adult 5.

Does that make sense?

See, the size 5s are £19.00 and the 13s are £15 - they're an adult size 5.

(though a woman in Millets, when I was trying to get away with size 6 child's walking boots told me they are not exactly the same as an adult size 6 )
