Is there any progress on the search for a school run sun dress?

What was the name of the company that cod was complaining about who took your money then didn't send stuff for AGES...I liked the dress there. Otherwise no inspiration from me although if I see another 'ironic'(to quote another mner) eighties clothing item I may be forced to start jabbing people with sticks

eh?
what is this school run sundress?
you want A dress to wear for school run?
what, same every day?
only for school run?

DANCESwithaFewExtraPounds · 13/04/2007 18:30

Cod wanted a sort of casual summer dress that she could bung on to go and collect children from school, whether she would choose to wear it every day is between Cod and her own personal hygeine standards....

Fillyjonk · 13/04/2007 19:32

so the rest of the day she is wearing WHAT, exactly?

DANCESwithaFewExtraPounds · 13/04/2007 19:32

Oh phooey, I just ordered a sun dress from Joules and, despite it being out of stock, they said they would take the money from my card straight away. Thought it was a bit off of them at the time. Gah...am I going to have to wait ages?

DANCESwithaFewExtraPounds · 13/04/2007 19:33

I'm thinking this Fillyjonk....

DrMarthaMcMoo · 13/04/2007 19:34

Yup, that's the one I've ordered. Didn't know everyone else was getting one too

LadyMacbeth · 13/04/2007 19:34

I was thinking of getting some Joules stuff, had forgotten what Cod wrote. Will think again as the stuff I want isn't in stock but they do say on a pop up that they'll take your money anyway. Hmmm.... do not want to wait for yonks so thank you for reminding me Dances

DANCESwithaFewExtraPounds · 13/04/2007 19:35

DrMarthaMcMoo · 13/04/2007 19:36

The dress I ordered from Joules (the one in Dances' first link) is allegedly back in stock on the 22nd of this month (they emailed me when I ordered it).

MrsBadger · 14/04/2007 11:13

cod cotton traders still do those jersey tennisy dresses here

Bucketsofdynomite · 14/04/2007 11:29

Is everyone above New Look and Select? because they have loads of cheap cotton dresses at the moment. Some might be a bit short though and would need to go over jeans cut off just below the knee. Nice red and white one for £25 in New Look.
