Grey Hair

My hair is quite grey which I currently highlight. I'm tempted to let it grow out and see what my natural colour is. I'm interested to see what others hair is like if you have been brave and stopped dying your hair. Do you think it ages you ?? Thanks in advance

With regards to the cancer risk, on assuming that highlights would be a safer option?
I’m not worried about a few silver/ grey hairs at 46. I decided to blonde it though- a cool blonde as lm fair with blue/ green eyes!
My natural colour ( still very much in evidence) is light brown. :)

*lm assuming .

I've just had mine cut short but the grey is mostly on the sides and front. i don't know whether to keep it or not, I'd like to be totally grey.

Can people give me an opinion if I post some pics ?

One thing I am concerned about is that I don't wear make up, just a bit of tinted moisturiser, and have no idea what my skin tone is, apart from patchy and freckly that is .

Bleach may be less chemicals than dark hair dye, but you still have to tone it, and I’m assuming the carcinogenic stuff would be in that too?
I dye my hair but I don’t wear makeup, hairspray,or perfumes on my skin or any of that. And I make my own moisturizers and deodorants so I’m hoping that balances it out a bit.

In this day and age you just have to pick your poison and try and minimize risk.

I have a terrible badger stripe along my parting which needs dying approximately every two weeks. I'm now starting to notice it round my temples as well. My natural hair colour is very dark brown so it is very obvious.
I would love to embrace the grey, however a lot of the ladies on here mention going short or even a pixie cut. I have a very fat face with a double chin and know a short hair cut will look terrible. I don't know how else to gradually embrace the grey except living with the badger stripe for months and months.
Do I start dying it lighter? Go blond first?

True dust
Maybe just highlights then?
I don’t know- tricky really. Smile

Highlights would be safer if your hair doesn’t get too brassy and doesn’t need double processing (or if you can keep minimal orange-tones at bay with purple shampoo).
Or maybe a brown henna dye would be less dangerous

I’ll look into it dust
I’m going to the hairdresser on Saturday! Smile
