Daith piercing

After someone mentioned Maria Tash the other day, I've become slightly obsessed with her jewellery and styling, particularly this daith piercing (the pearled hoop in the middle).

Does anyone have their daith pierced? What's your experience of it if so? Is it a mid life crisis moment too far?!

I believe the room is meant to be more painful than the daith. I had my daith done about 15 months ago and I love it, hardly any discomfort and if healed well- just one gungy moment.

I’ve found my helix and upper lobe more painful to heal.

Rook is more painful that should say!

This is making me want another piercing. I have a helix, forward helix and two conches.

I’m still struggling to find a bar or ring for my rook, it’s still not fully healed and has flare ups even though it’s been over a year now! Don’t know whether to get a bar, a ring etc and don’t know whether to get one of those silicone type ones or surgical grade steel etc Sad

I love the look of that!
Don’t have my daith pierced but I do have my rook pierced- the fold above that one. It was my easiest one ever. It pinched a bit when I had it done but it healed so quickly and hardly hurt at all afterwards.
I love the Maria Tash stuff too.
