I'm apple shaped and looking for some skinny jeans or jeggings in dark indigo that are comfortable around the waist. I'm size 14/16. Any recommendations?

Sainsbury’s performance jeans are really stretchy. I’ve just bought my first pair and they’re really comfortable.

I have some high waisted jeggings from littlewoods that are comfortable. I'm a 16 Apple too and need high waisted or they cut me in half

TitaniasCloset · 24/10/2017 05:25

Tesco high waist or simply be are good.

Monkeybunkey · 24/10/2017 09:04

I've got some from Avon in a 14/16 and they're really comfy. They have a tummy control panel too so they're very flattering.

Eminybob · 24/10/2017 09:06

Matalan high waisted skinnies (they are super stretchy) but definatley not their jeggings (sooo uncomfortable)

Also, Tesco jeans.

Fairylea · 24/10/2017 09:11

Primark super skinny come up quite high without being specifically high waisted. I find them very comfortable.

I saw Matalan mentioned on another thread but their super skinny jeans in indigo are all ripped - not what I'm looking for.

I've got dp eden jeggings but don't find them that comfy around the waist, they're a bit low for me.

I don't have Sainsburys that stocks many clothes nearby, might look online.

I'll try primark thanks.

TK Maxx own brand high waisted. Try them on because the sizings are American.

DownTheDuckPond · 24/10/2017 11:36

Another vote for Sainsburys; I've just had abdominal surgery so comfort in the waist area is v.important right now! Also the Harper jeans from Very.

Thanks

White Stuff's. Really, really comfy. Also Seasalt's, though I don't like the styling quite so much.

WildCherryBlossom · 24/10/2017 12:08

The latest incarnation of Gap skinnies seem to have a higher waist (they are not the actual high waist ones).

dontcallmelen · 24/10/2017 13:22

Hi I just got some high waisted skinny jeggings from m&s, they are really comfortable & soft nice thick waistband which sits flat I think they were £15.00

Ifonlyiweretaller · 24/10/2017 20:35

placemarking so i can have a browse tomorrow...

GingerRogers84 · 24/10/2017 20:40

H&M one’s are £12.99 and come in loads of colours. I’ve just bought the Maternity versions too because they fit so well!

Arsenicinthesugarbowl · 24/10/2017 20:44

Another vote for M&S high waisted jeggings. I have a few pairs and they are great!

Unicorn81 · 24/10/2017 20:51

Marks and spencers sit nice and dont dig in

museumum · 24/10/2017 20:53

I like fatface five pocket jeggings. They’re stretch but have a proper waist and fly, I wear them with a belt. I can’t be doing with elasticated waists.

Puppymouse · 24/10/2017 21:15

I am Apple exactly same size as you. I wear Gap true skinny. Never had any issues. I find slightly higher waist is best. I will always have an overhang because if my tummy but not as much of a muffin....

Ifonlyiweretaller · 24/10/2017 22:44

Can someone post a link to the M&S ones please? My search doesnt seem to be working...
Thanks

Uniqlo trouser leggings are great.

cece · 24/10/2017 23:06

I like the Primark high waisted skinny jeans. £9 and really comfortable.

I also buy from Tesco too.
