My daughter lives in London and I'm overseas so we don't see each other too often. So I'm completely out of touch about what to buy her for Christmas.
So suggestions please from you lovely ladies.
She's 30, married, no children, blonde, size 10, 5'8'', keeps fit, has her own company., well groomed.
Any ideas? Lusted after products? Great accessories? Gorgeous make up?

Sally Hughes has just written about the Charlotte Tilbury highlighter, which she says is brilliant (£25 I think).

What about books? I always love getting a couple from my mum - we have similar taste and she tends to know what I've read already.

How about some travel Chanel perfume ? Ideal for your handbag or some Lululemon gym gear !

I second Aesop, lovely stuff. Also agree with cashmere wrist warmers. What about Celtic and co slippers? I have the slipper boots and they're fantastic.

I'm the same age, also into fitness. I got some Lucas Hugh leggings from The Outnet (gym leggings that is!). I'd been lusting after them in Selfridges but found a cracking deal on them on The Outnet (Net-a-Porters offspring outlet store) they are very luxurious and fabulous quality.

I'd be wary of buying perfume for someone else - two posters have suggested Chanel Coco Noir and Chance and I loathe both of those (I'm your daughter's age too) so it'd be an expensive waste of money. I like the idea of the perfume sample subscription though, I would love that! Agree with the posters suggesting books, Daunt Books do a book subscription where they send one book a month. I don't rate Charlotte Tilbury but I love Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier for beautiful eyeshadows. I'd love a really high end red lipstick, Chanel or Tom Ford, which I wouldn't buy myself. Also cashmere wrist warmers sound lovely and I do lots of sport and would love good sports clothes too. I'd like a beautiful wool blanket, posh scented candle, frivolous makeup item, books, cosy but washable socks (Mum gave me cashmere socks once from the White Company and they had to be hand washed so they mostly sat in the washing basket and I gave up wearing them), a one-off beauty box or a couple of months subscription, pretty notebook/diary, vinyl (if she has a record player), posh bottle of gin.

Definitely getting cashmere wrist warmers.....seems most of you want some!....are the Brora ones the best to get? Or another shop?

I was in Molton brown yesterday and they do some lovely limited edition Christmas body or hand wash. They also do baubles with shower gels in which might be fun for your table presents.

Aveda/Kerastase/Nuxe stuff?
It's a bit boring/off-trend now, but I do like the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse (don't know if she likes musky smells, I originally wasn't at all keen on the smell but now think it's gorgeous - warm and a little spicy).

I have 3 pairs of Turtle Doves cashmere wrist warmers - made in Britain and recycled. I love them, they're fab. But perhaps you'd rather a more traditionally luxe brand, I can understand that!

Someone upthread mentioned a wool blanket. I like Avoca blankets, from Ireland. I have a Circus one which is gorgeous.

In terms of stocking fillers, my OH got me Under Armour trainer socks last year, which were very well received.
