Is there a product out there that gives a bit of coverage and gives you a dewy finish? **Title edited by MNHQ**

I should start off by saying I'm really lazy and can't be bothered with the foundation faff. Is there a product that gives a bit of coverage that I can put on with my fingers after moisturising? If it helps to give a dewy finish even better!

Thanks!

It Cosmetics cc cream. So natural, has a great finish, is a moisturiser, primer, anti-aging serum, spf 50. I love it. It's quite expensive but I think it's worth it.

Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser. Seriously. I’ve never looked back.

I used to love the Chanel Les Beiges sheer glow fluid, did exactly this. But it's been discontinued 😭
I like the LM tinted moisturiser but it's still a bit too foundation-y for my preference day to day
Watching with interest...

Chantecaille Just skin - light coverage and a gorgeous glow.

I second Chantecaille.

Erborian CC cream - I use Clair for my nc 20 skin
Applied with fingers it in invisible but just perfects skin
I mix it with moisturiser and it is great
I might need concealer after but that is rare and I just brush a little pale bronzer or blush and am good to go
I might pay some mattifier on my nose too.

Bombardier25966 · 13/10/2017 19:57

I mix a bit of foundation with my moisturiser (YSL Touche Eclat). Just slap it on Wink

Ktown · 13/10/2017 20:09

Agree to diluting stuff with moisturiser
I do this with highlighter too
Most products feel too concentrated so they don't look sheer or dewy

Rosieandtwinkle · 13/10/2017 20:15

Definitely Laura Mercier tinted foundation, as pp said.

I really like NARS tinted moisturiser, decent coverage and fairly dewy finish

N0tfinished · 13/10/2017 22:49

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue. On my 4th tube. Get a sample though, it’s an unusual texture. I have v dry skin, it makes me look fresh & younger

NoMoreStickers · 13/10/2017 23:24

Bobbi brown BBcream is glowy with moderate coverage, it has a good texture and you can just whack it on

Cakescakescakes · 13/10/2017 23:26

The new Ester Lauder double wear nude is a very very lightweight and fluid liquid. Nothing remotely like actual double wear at all. Lovely sheer and fresh glowy finish. Very easy to apply with your fingers as it is such a gorgeous texture. Go to any counter and they will colour match you and you can get a little sample botttle with about week’s worth of product.

Nars tinted moisturiser and sheer glow foundation

MakeLemonade · 14/10/2017 00:03

I mix Boots tinted moisturiser with a drop of Chanel Vitalumiere and it gives a lovely light and dewy look.

timeisnotaline · 14/10/2017 00:11

ELDW the lighter stuff. I moisturise first. Lovely and light.

HappyEverIftar · 14/10/2017 07:36

Caudalie tinted moisturiser. I will never use anything else now, having recently discovered it. Plus it has an SPF in it.

wishiwasacollie · 14/10/2017 07:39

Espa tinted moisturiser does it for me

FrannySalinger · 14/10/2017 07:44

Givenchy Teint Couture, have lost count of the amount of times I’ve recommended it.

Clickncollect · 14/10/2017 23:15

Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser - genuinely gives a dewy look!

BulletFox · 15/10/2017 06:09

Absolutely love (god autocorrect said 'lobe' initially, brought back memories of accidentally lobbing a newspaper at a movie star's head whilst a high spirited teen. He ducked. I paused in horror then ran) Inika foundation with hyaluronic acid. It's very sheer.

BulletFox · 15/10/2017 06:29

I wasn't meaning to aim at his head. I always feel slightly defensive about this. I heard him at a lecture at uni but declined to go to the aftermath function but went to the uni bar afterwards instead.

There was a table outside the bar which had ironed newspapers on it and picked one up and threw it across the function room (opposite the bar, as we were leaving) and to my horror saw all the politicians and movie stars duck at a flying newspaper. My aim was bad.

Inika is really good though.
