Post pregnancy flabby woman needs smart outfit

Size 16-18 35 year old with flabby tummy,huge bum and hips/thighs.Need christening outfit for dd's big day.Part of my endless needs are :

Nothing bias cut - hopeless with mega thighs
Nothing sleeveless or cap sleeved - did I mention my upper arms
Only loose fitting wide leg flat front trousers - see above

Also breastfeeding so might be better to avoid dresses although if it looks OK I am prepared to strip (not in the church!) to feed.
I like:

A line skirts as I do still have a good bust/waist combination as long as I skim over the lower tummy but feel conscious of avoiding big print because of my size.
Brightish colours as dark hair and pale skin so look washed out in neutrals/black
Lower necklines to show off my one asset

you have my sympathy, only just found a pair of trousers that fits having had DD2 6 weeks ago! Give me back my old body!!!

I have found trousers that fit and hopefully hold the flabby tummy bit in but tops are too tight across my ample bosom which is prone to leaking in moments of high excitement - will keep an eye on this thread and hope someone comes up with some ideas!

Haven't looked at tops yet (do you need a jacket, do you think, or just a nice top, maybe a pretty cardigan?), but how about this skirt ?

Also similar in red . I quite like this but it might be a bit too casual.

what about a jersey wrap dress? they are v.v.v. flattering, long or three quarter length sleeves to sort out the arm problem and v neck to show off your assets and the wrap can disguise big tums. Plus easy for feeding!!!!Hobbs do them in really lovely prints but then again you can get them just about anywhere these days! Get some magic pants and there will be no vpl or lumps and bumps.

Like the skirt in both colours -haven't been to Wallis in ages so will go to try on.
Am fond of red but not sure if looks OK in bigger sizes.Am I best to go bright or go for brown/olive which are my best neutrals?Can't seem to find these colours as summer not autumn ranges in the shop.

Wrap dresses are a good idea as long as not in a clingy material - has anyone seen one they can recommend? Had a look at the Hobbs site but they all seem sleeveless/cap sleeved for summer.

Think I will go for skirt and fancy cardi or dress unless there is a really well cut pair of trousers out there for my chocolate bum.

Saw a dress I liked on the jigsaw site this on page 30 .Cashmere wool silk which I assume is why it is £185!!!(also even at this price can't remember if Jigsaw do larger sizes anyway).
However if I am going to have my podgy self kept for posterity in loads of pics I may have to spend unless anyone can suggest an alternative.

Also quite liked this dress and coat from Monsoon here and here and skirt and top or dress from Great Plains here and here and rosebud here and finally here . (yes I know they nearly all have the lovely cap sleeves to show off my untoned white upper arms nicely but I give up!- will invest in nice tan also.

Opinions and alternative suggestions please...

Also what are the very best magic knickers which won't make me feel totally uncomfortable all day.

Any advice anyone or I shall just have to go shopping this weekend and hope I find something.
