Umm.. nose hairs?

So, my friend has noticed that her nose hairs are rather more visible lately. This is not ideal. She was wondering what the done thing is. Plucking? Snipping? Braiding with little bows? Let me know and I'll be sure to pass the advice on to my friend.

My friend only notices hers when she has a cold. Then they show out of the nostril, poker straight and gleaming.

bats in the cave

Amazing!! Love that!!

Get NADS from amazon. It’s excellent. Or so my friend says.

TrinityBelle · 08/10/2017 11:51

Poundland sell nasal hair trimmers.

ClaudiaNaughton · 08/10/2017 12:41

Yep, Nads from Amazon. Dd talked me through it.

MrJohnsonAteMyCustard · 08/10/2017 12:51

Yes, poundland for nasal hair trimmers. Also, they sell bikini line trimmers, very slim and perfectly suitable to insert into nostril to trim hair. My friend was very happy with hers.

Though my friend did also buy one from Argos a while back that does the job Grin

Thought this thread was going to be about the nose hair extensions that's going around at the moment Blush

FinnegansCake · 08/10/2017 13:00

My friend is happy about the new nose hair extensions, as she now looks bang on trend.

Annalama · 08/10/2017 13:19

gahstly extensions Grin

TalkingSheds · 08/10/2017 13:42

My friend is asking kindly for a link please to some of these wonderful nasal trimmers you are talking about. My friend is delighted this thread has popped up as she is struggling with nasal hair just now.

DuckOffAutocorrectYouShiv · 08/10/2017 15:53

anna, the Metro is truly a source of quality journalism isn't it? I looked at your nostril link and was pointed at another article of theirs re dildo make up application Confused

justdontevenfuckingstart · 08/10/2017 15:56

My friend would like to know if anyone else's friends have tried the wax things you stick up your nose. When my friend watched videos they looked excruciating but gave good results.

SilentlyScreamingAgain · 08/10/2017 15:58

My friend cut her nose hair with nail scissorsand then spent months almost constantly pinching her nose because the hairs were all spikey and strange feeling. Just do the trailing ends, she says.

BrieAndChilli · 08/10/2017 16:00

My friends husband got an electric beard trimmer for xmas, complete with lots of different attachments so my friend uses the nose trimmer attachmentwhen husband is out

DuckOffAutocorrectYouShiv · 08/10/2017 16:00

My friend has a pink Hmm mini Philips trimmer but doesn't recommend it. She bought it for her 'tache but says it pulls and gives her a bumpy, zitty rash.

Dailystuck71 · 08/10/2017 16:01

I just shove a bit of veet up there when I am doing my lip the hair that comes out is horrifying.

DuckOffAutocorrectYouShiv · 08/10/2017 16:02

This is the one to avoid, so I'm told

DuckOffAutocorrectYouShiv · 08/10/2017 16:03

On a serious note, your friends should be careful with veet up nostrils. It shouldn't go on mucous membranes.

IHopeYourCakeIsShit · 08/10/2017 16:11

Boots do one for under a tenner Bloomed.
I got one for my (coughs) dh.

Bloomed · 08/10/2017 17:06

Thanks Hope I'll let my friend know.

L0quacious · 08/10/2017 17:54

My friend has just done a nasal spot check and plucked a few out. My friend thinks ''oh shit'' another maintenance job in order to just look not awful. My friend is pushing water uphill already. God love her.

SisterMoonshine · 08/10/2017 19:29

Pantah630 · 08/10/2017 19:29

My friend swears by one of these https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/162158156183 kept for this job alone.

CrazyHairSister · 08/10/2017 20:41

Asda delivered one for the princely sum of £2.50 for my friend. It works very well I hear.

321zerobaby · 08/10/2017 20:54

My friend tells me that her nose hairs have started to go grey. Grey! Who knew that was a thing?

Pikachuwithyourmouthclosed · 08/10/2017 22:07

bats in the cave - ha, brilliant.

See, my friend actually started down this path because of clingers on protruding hairs. She's a bit dismayed to learn that ripping out the foliage may result in MORE, er, bats.
