Blimey that's hideous!

Gobbledigook · 09/04/2007 16:04

No Soupy it's lovely!
I agree on there it looks a bit 'bleurgh' but it was in Red magazine last month and looked relaly nice on the model with white trousers and heels.

Are you very petite? That would give me a bolster bosom I'm sure and I'm not particularly whopping.

LazyLine · 09/04/2007 16:06

That's gross.

SoupDreggon · 09/04/2007 16:06

No, I've looked again and it's still hideous.

Clearly made out of some dodgy curtains found in a charity shop

Gobbledigook · 09/04/2007 16:07

Ah well, I like it.

OP posts:
Gobbledigook · 09/04/2007 16:07

But it's irrelevant as it seems impossible to buy it in an 8 or 10 either online or in the shop

OP posts:
SueW · 09/04/2007 16:07

IMO it owuld be totally hideous on anyone over size 12 who had larger than ??C cup.

paulaplumpbottom · 09/04/2007 16:07

Its too much like the one Britnay Spears had on. In fact it looks identical.

Gobbledigook · 09/04/2007 16:08

I'm not 'petite' but I'm size 8-10 and my norks are B-C cup so just average sized.

OP posts:
Gobbledigook · 09/04/2007 16:08

Britney Spears?! Would she have a top on from Monsoon?!

OP posts:
paulaplumpbottom · 09/04/2007 16:10

I dunno but she wore one that looked just like it. Can't find a pic though

turquoise · 09/04/2007 16:10

I think it would look nice in that case, with white jeans etc - but Monsoon sizes are huge.

Gobbledigook · 09/04/2007 16:13

here is Liz Hurley wearing it

OP posts:
paulaplumpbottom · 09/04/2007 16:14

I actaully think it doesn't look great on her

Tutter · 09/04/2007 16:17

you are in need of some moral tunic support

tis lovely gdg

i would buy it too if i were not pg

misdee · 09/04/2007 16:18

i liek the style, but not the pattern.

Gobbledigook · 09/04/2007 16:18

Yay!! Was wondering where you were! Blimey - lots of people liked it last night!

I would buy it, or at least try it on (it's true, it could look crappo on), if it was in a smaller size. I wonder if it just doesn't come in a smaller size

OP posts:
Tutter · 09/04/2007 16:19

have you called a couple of stores?

Gobbledigook · 09/04/2007 16:20

No - good idea!

OP posts:
Tutter · 09/04/2007 16:20

ps when not pg i am small of nork, thick of waist ad narrow of hip, so it would indeed be perfect

maybe i should buy it for next year...?

Gobbledigook · 09/04/2007 16:22

go on go on go on go on go on.....

If I ever want to look monobosomed with upholstered spare tyres, I'll get that tunic...

Even Liz Hurley looks awful in it.

DeviousDaffodil · 09/04/2007 16:33

Not my cup of tea.
That neck line would make me look like a matron.
