How typical is it that we dont get invited anywhere then get 2 invites in 10 days.

Anyway first party is end of may my cousins 21st (a cousin I have never met) and the second is an evening invite to another cousins wedding. Would like to buy one outfit and wear it to both. Have some nice evening shoes, so dont really want to buy another pair.

Budget max of about £40 HELP

OK - what are the shoes like (style and colour)? And which bits of you are you happy to show off? Arms good enough for sleeveless?

have a really nice pair of silver diamonte stilletos that seem to go with everything. Can do strapless (have a very good strapless bra)

Maybe something like this or this ?

JackieNo · 07/04/2007 22:06

X-post - OK - silver's good. I'll include strapless as possibilities.

This is pretty .

JackieNo · 07/04/2007 22:08

Brown - possibly the one colour that might not go with silver.

JackieNo · 07/04/2007 22:11

How about this one?
This is nice if you can do red (I know I can't).

wurlywurly · 07/04/2007 22:12

like the first 2, not so keen on the strapless one

OK - how about this , or this (prefer the first one of those 2, myself)

wurlywurly · 07/04/2007 22:15

the black bustier one is absolutely gorgeous. I dont really do colour i'm a bit of a goth.

JackieNo · 07/04/2007 22:17

Ah - so this is probably a bit too bright then?

JackieNo · 07/04/2007 22:19

How about this ? I'm not convinced about the frill at the bottom though. (You get a better idea of the design of it if you look at the orange version .)

wurlywurly · 07/04/2007 22:19

its lovely just not me, (oh and i wouldnt get my norks in it.)

How about something like this? Could be very impressive with the right, ahem, support.

wurlywurly · 07/04/2007 22:30

erm no.

OP posts:
JackieNo · 07/04/2007 22:31

sorry.

wurlywurly · 07/04/2007 22:35

maybe i should just get a nice top, have a very good fitting black suit that i never wear??

OP posts:
JackieNo · 07/04/2007 22:44

That's a good idea - maybe a bustier style one?
